Take in Roaring Nights and Other Summer Events at the Zoo
The zoo isn’t just for kids. It’s also for the young at heart and the curious. There’s a little something for everyone at special zoo events.
Bring the family to the All Ages event on July 23 and have a blast with a 1960s Summer Safari theme, featuring a live performance by The Detroit Nights. There will also be Adults Only nights on July 21 or September 15 (Country Night and ‘80s vs. ‘90s Night, respectively).
Plus, these events will feature extended access to the zoo with an expanded route.
Wings of Summer Tour
This tour takes you on a journey to discover the zoo’s avian inhabitants and species native to the area. On the walk, you’ll learn things you never knew and discover how to spot your winged neighbors. The tour will take place on Saturday, July 15.
