Enjoy an Evening Under the Stars at the Party on the Plaza / Burbank Arts For All Foundation

It’s time to pull out that tux or little black dress and get ready to join a festive night of celebration at an evening under the stars at the Party on the Plaza Burbank!  Hosting the event is Fritz Coleman, beloved NBC4’s weatherman, comedian and Southern California icon, along with Honorary Gala Co-Chairs Tim Burton, Dick Cook, Don Hahn, Ron Howard, Dot Marie Jones and Gary Marshall.

The Burbank Arts For All Foundation provides grant funding to support arts education as a core curriculum in Burbank’s unified schools and the Party on the Plaza in Burbank helps to raise those funds through a celebration of arts education.  Last year’s sold-out gala was an extraordinary event with contributions from more than 300 supporters, and this year’s event will be no different with premiere sponsors such as The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Worthe Real Estate Group and Deluxe.

Creativity Flourishes at the 2013 Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival

The streets will be packed with more than 12,000 art lovers browsing San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia and Olive for the 2013 Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival.  The two-day outdoor exhibition will feature over 90 regional artists showing off their wares, such as paintings, sculptures, photographs and a wide array of jewelry, fine glass, ceramics and more.  Everything is made by hand and all of the artists will be on hand to meet.  Additionally, Southern California’s most talented street painters will be producing supersized artwork on asphalt and concrete.  It’s truly an inspiring and enlightening experience to watch as they bring the streets to life with their art.  Sometimes called Madonarii, this art-form dates back to the Italian Renaissance when street artists often created images of the Madonna.
