Get Inspired at the InD’Scribe Con & Book Festival

Join fellow authors and readers in a celebration of independent publishing at the Burbank Convention Center.

Fancy yourself a modern Shakespeare?  Or are you more of a Jane Austen?   Maybe you have no dreams of penning your own masterpiece but sure love to tear into any book you can get your hands on!

InD’ScribeIf you find either sentiment speaks to your creative soul, then be sure to pencil in the upcoming InD’Scribe Con & Book Festival taking place at our hotel October 4-7, 2018. For four days, the Burbank Convention Center will be filled activities for authors and readers alike to enjoy. The overall feeling of this gathering of like-minded wordsmiths is welcoming and accepting – a place where you can feel free to let your creative soul shine!

Events taking place throughout the convention include interactive panels and workshops with some of the top independent authors writing today! The list of attendees is vast and varied, but the two keynote speakers may be familiar to anyone who considers themselves an indie-bibliophile (especially of the romance genre).

Kristen Ashley has penned over sixty romance novels. Not only will she be giving a keynote address, she will be on hand to participate in a variety of workshops over the four days including tips on how to build authentic characters.

Denise Grover Swank has found her voice speaking to a younger audience with her top novels being geared toward the Young Adult crowd. In addition to her keynote speech, you can expect to learn how to effectively write comedy when dealing with serious subjects and other tricks of the trade that she continually employs in her writing.

To ensure maximum enjoyment of this trip through the ever-changing world of the written word, book a room with us at Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel, the official host hotel for the InD’Scribe Convention.
