Lace Up Some Skates at The Rink in Downtown Burbank

Discover the premier destination for this traditional winter weather activity in the heart of Downtown Burbank!

When visiting the Golden State during the holiday season, the temperate weather and sunny skies may make it seem impossible to enjoy any true ‘winter wonderland’ style of festivities. If you want to build a snowman, you’re probably still out of luck! But from December 13 through January 6, another classic colder climate activity, taking place right in Downtown Burbank, will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

The Rink in Downtown BurbankTake a trip to City Hall, strap on some blades, and get ready for some outdoor ice skating at The Rink in Downtown Burbank! From 10:00AM for 10:00PM daily, this annual holiday tradition brings a conventional winter pastime right to the heart of our beloved city. Even as the temps soar, take to the ice and show off on your skates. Even the smallest of children will find themselves skating in style as a rentable skate aid in the adorable form of “Bobby the Seal” will keep them upright (for the most part)! For the older set who aren’t the most surefooted, show up early on Saturday mornings for some skate lessons before your 90-minute session begins! General admission tickets are $10 per person (with a supplemental fee of $6 for a skate rental and $8 for the skating aid).

As the hours are extended on Friday and Saturday to 11:30PM, consider making it a true night on the town by booking a room with us at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel. Located minutes away from The Rink, our spacious accommodations and variety of enjoyable amenities will provide you with the perfect place to unwind from your seasonal skating in both comfort and style!
