No one’s too old to enjoy Halloween-inspired festivities, especially when it’s being put on by Universal Studios Hollywood!
Not only does Universal Studios Hollywood start celebrating the second most popular holiday in our country a month early, they continue to add more tricks and treats each and every year based on the newest films and pop culture phenomena. Opening with a Fan Preview Night on September 12, Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights is one of the area’s most popular destinations for some terror-ific family-fun!
Parental discretion is advised but the park recommends that children under the age of 13 may find Halloween Horror Nights too intense. The reason for the caution – the event transforms Universal Studios Hollywood into the city’s most terrifying Halloween experience, including walk-through maze attractions, intense scare zones, terrifying live shows, and of course, the extreme rides and attractions you have come to love at the park throughout the years! This year, they have added even more mazes bringing the total up to 10. Each one takes on a different theme including Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, Ghostbusters, AMC’s The Walking Dead Attraction, Stranger Things, and many more that have yet to be announced. There are 5 new scare zones and an all-new live show featuring the famous dance crew, the Jabbawockeez.
Halloween is no longer one day a year!
Starting with the first-ever Fan Preview night, the event runs on select nights from Friday, September 13 through Sunday, November 3. Another new addition this year is the weekly 80’s Throwback Thursdays. All of the same thrills will be on display but with an added 80’s spin including live bands and DJ dance parties. No matter which night you choose, these rain-or-shine events begin at 7:00PM. And even though you may be tempted, no costumes are allowed!
To enjoy the best discounts and shorter wait times for the attractions, think of planning to attend in September. And be sure to truly perfect this experience by booking a stay with us at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel. Conveniently located 5 miles away from Universal Studios Hollywood, we’ll ensure that your night of Halloween Horror is not a trick, but a truly memorable treat!
