Halloween Comes Early at Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest

Even before fall arrives, Fright Fest is bringing the thrills and chills to Los Angeles!

The calendar may still officially show that it is summer, but fall is right around the corner. And with its ever-growing popularity, this means the start of Halloween season. No longer just one day a year, the tricks and treats now start much earlier, with one of the most anticipated celebrations of this season returning to Six Flags Magic Mountain on September 14!

Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright FestSix Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest is bigger than ever!

On select dates throughout the month of September and every weekend leading up to Halloween on October 31, this celebration of all things terrifyingly frightful returns to the theme park for its 27th year! Continually raising the bar on Halloween-inspired thrills, Fright Fest will offer 23 haunted mazes in 2019! These walk-through attractions are updated every year to ensure if you have visited in the past, you won’t be experiencing the same fright a second time!

Yet the biggest frights always come from unexpected places.

To ensure that no one leaves the park without a scare, the Fright Fest Scare Zones will keep you on your toes with roaming zombies and other frightful ghouls ready to prove that the greatest tricks are sometimes the sweetest treats! These scare zones stick to a theme, so if you have a severe fear of clowns, maybe steer clear of their zone… or maybe not?

Your favorite rides will also hold a frightening twist… or not.

Do you dare to ride some of the park’s monster coasters during the Fest? Be sure you aren’t afraid of the dark as these already thrilling rides, from X2 to Twisted Colossus, are turning off the lights. Of course, there are some tame attractions for all of the little monsters in your family who have come to the park in the daylight hours. That’s right – there are no real frights during the day with a Trick or Treat Trail and Halloween Crafts giving the younger set a chance to celebrate. But once the clock chimes 7:00PM, no one is safe from the terrifying fright that only comes at night.

After actively seeking out the tricks, you might be in need of a real treat! Luckily, the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel is not just convenient, but a comfortable and fright-free place for you to rest your heads, with only the greatest night of sleep provided by our luxuriously-plush beds!
